BLACK PEPPER STRAWBERRY COMPOTE

 

3 cups sliced Strawberries

1 tbsp Balsamic Reduction (see recipe)

¾ tsp freshly ground Black Pepper

 

Combine all ingredients well. Makes 3 cups.

 

Balsamic Reduction

1/8 cup Water

1 cup White Balsamic Vinegar

 

Place water and vinegar in a sauce pan over medium heat. Allow to cook till reduced by half and the consistency is like syrup. Make ½ cup
